Potential Vendors:
Please only submit applications, application fees and booth fees through our Manage My Market portal, and only communicate with the manager@focowfm.com email. Fraudulent accounts have attempted to imitate the Market and collect fees in the past. We do not associate with those accounts and will only ever contact vendors via email or our portal.
At the Fort Collins Winter Farmers Market, we are committed to making locally grown produce accessible to our community all year round. We understand the unique challenges faced by farmers in our region and are excited to offer our new Farmer Scholarship program to help.
What is the Scholarship?
This season, we are covering 100% of booth fees for farmers selling produce at the Winter Farmers Market. Our goal is to make it easier for growers to participate in our direct-to-consumer market during the winter. Please note the following guidelines:
-
Who Qualifies: Any grower in the Northern Colorado region vending strictly produce. Vendors of meat, eggs, and other agricultural products are not eligible.
-
What is Covered: The scholarship covers 100% of your booth fees for the season.
-
What is Not Covered: Farmers are still responsible for the 4% daily percentage of sales fees and the $60 application fee.
-
Special Considerations: Produce vendors receiving the scholarship may not sell other value-added products unless they receive special permission from the Winter Farmers Market. If a producer wants to sell non-produce items, they will not qualify for the scholarship.
Why We Offer This Scholarship
Our mission is to provide access to locally grown and made products during the months when they are typically hard to find. We know that growing produce in our region during the winter is a significant challenge, often requiring expensive tools like high tunnels, greenhouses, and cold storage. This can lead to lower production and staffing, making it difficult for smaller growers to attend farmers markets.
This scholarship is our way of helping to even the playing field, ensuring more growers can access a direct-to-consumer market and continue to share their hard work with our community.
How to Apply
If you are a grower interested in attending the Winter Farmers Market on scholarship, please fill out this form by September 22, 2025. We will review all applications to determine eligibility.
